About the Attorney
I was born and raised in Cadillac, and as a native, I understand the people and their concerns. Even when I lived
elsewhere, I maintained strong ties to my family and friends here, which has also enabled me to make connections
within the city that I would use to best serve your needs. I am once again a full-time resident and glad to be
back.
Between high school and college, I took the time to decide what it was that I wanted to do in life. I ultimately
chose to study law because I wanted to help people, and because I found arguing for a just cause to be enjoyable
and satisfying. Since I discovered what it was that I wanted to do in life, I have continuously strived to achieve
my goals.
I obtained my undergraduate degree from Grand Valley State University with a double major in Legal Studies and
Philosophy and graduated cum laude from law school at Michigan State College of Law. During my higher education,
I worked as an intern for the Michigan Migrant Legal Assistants Project in Grand Rapids, which was a nonprofit
organization dedicated to giving legal assistance to those in need. I gave a presentation at the national conference
of the Academy of Criminal Justice and Science on the juvenile justice system. I also worked as an intern for the
Macomb County Prosecutors Office, which enabled me to see the law from a prosecutor's point of view, which is critical
knowledge when it comes to assisting clients.
After passing the state bar exam, I decided to set up shop in my hometown. I am dedicated to my profession and will
strive to do my utmost in order to maintain discipline and integrity. I am also a hard working and loyal individual
who will do everything that I can to help all of my clients through their individual legal needs.
